Annual Highlight

England's annual national wine campaign, running approximately 21–29 June (exact dates to be confirmed). Tastings, winemaker dinners, special menus at restaurants, and the key event: exclusive open days at estates that are normally closed to the public. Many of England's finest producers — including some that take appointments only — open their doors for English Wine Week. Book early.

Canterbury Wine Festival

Typically held in mid-May at Westgate Hall, Canterbury. Over fifty wines from Kent's finest producers, winemaker talks, and guided tastings with Masters of Wine. An ideal introduction to the Kent wine region for visitors already making the Eurostar connection.

June 2026 · Chilham Castle, Kent

Wine Garden of England Festival

Set around the lake at Chilham Castle — one of England's most beautiful estate settings — this festival brings together Kent's leading producers including Balfour, Chapel Down, and Gusbourne. Live music, local food stalls, and wine tasting with producers present. One of England's most pleasurable wine events.

June 2026 · Hampshire

Hampshire Fizz Fest

Held at the Raimes tasting barn near Hinton Ampner, the Hampshire Fizz Fest is a dedicated showcase of Hampshire sparkling wine — the county that arguably produces England's most elegant and age-worthy examples. An opportunity to taste Hambledon, Hattingley Valley, Exton Park, Black Chalk, and Raimes in a single afternoon.

Nyetimber Seasonal Open Days

Nyetimber holds a limited number of seasonal open days throughout the year. The two-hour experience — walking the estate, hearing the history, tasting in a fifteenth-century barn — is the most atmospheric vineyard visit in England. Tickets at £50 sell out weeks in advance.
